Pilot Perspective

Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Carlos Gonzalez pilots an unmanned aerial vehicle after its delivery of a payload to the USS Henry M. Jackson around the Hawaiian Islands. This marks the second such delivery by drone. In 2019, a UAV successfully took a five-pound payload consisting of circuit cards, medical supplies, and food to the Virginia-class fast attack submarine USS Hawaii while underway.
