B-52 Stratofortress

A B-52 Stratofortress receives fuel from a KC-135 Stratotanker over the Indian Ocean, March 24, 2003. Both aircraft flew in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and were a joint effort all along. Joint warfighting is widely considered to be the future of operations.
