Funeral March Members of the honor guard and 5th Special Forces Group escort the casket of returned Army Sgt. 1st Class Alan Boyer who had been Missing In Action for over 48 years during his funeral service at Arlington National Cemetery, June 22, 2016. Boyer was a member of Spike Team Asp, an 11-man reconnaissance team assigned to Military Assistance Command, Vietnam - Studies and Observations Group (MACV-SOG,) conducting a classified reconnaissance mission in Savannakhet Province, Laos, March 28, 1968, when the team was attacked by enemy forces. He was named MIA for over 48 years till March 2016 when his remains were returned to his family.
