Members of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina shared their history and heritage during the U.S. Army Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command National American Indian Heritage event, hosted by both command's Equal Opportunity directorates, at the U.S. Army Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command headquarters, Nov. 18, 2015. The details sewn in the dresses worn by members of the Lumbee nation have a specific meaning for each person. The event recognized the tribe's contributions to America and the nation's history.
