U.S. paratroopers assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division wait for the arrival of a CH-47 Chinook helicopter during a combined training event with their Polish allies in Nowa Deba, Poland, Feb. 25, 2022. The focus of the 82nd Airborne Division's mission is to assure our Allies and deter Russian aggression. The 82nd Airborne Division is currently deployed to Poland to train with and operate alongside Polish allies as part of an ongoing NATO commitment.
