Fuel Flight

Air Force C-17 Globemaster IIIs participating in a hot defuel and refuel exercise fly over Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C., Jan. 5, 2023. Hot defueling is conducted when fuel is offloaded from an aircraft while the engines are running. The fuel was used to refuel an Army AH-64 Apache helicopter.
