Air Force Capt. Miranda Bapty flies over Palau in the western Pacific Ocean, Dec. 3, 2023, during Operation Christmas Drop. Service members delivered two bundles of humanitarian goods. The operation is the DOD’s longest-running humanitarian and disaster relief mission, delivering supplies to remote islands in the southeastern Pacific.
