Soldiers assigned to the Oregon National Guard's 3rd Battalion, 116th Cavalry Regiment carry bleachers before a ceremony at the Orchard Combat Training Center near Boise, Idaho, May 8, 2024. During the ceremony, the battalion received a Meritorious Unit Commendation for exceptional service providing convoy security during a 2010-2011 deployment to Iraq.
