Arlington Honors

Gordon Sullivan at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., May 10, 2024. Sullivan served in postwar Korea, two combat tours in Vietnam and four tours in Europe during the Cold War. He was appointed as the Army chief of staff in 1991. Sullivan was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal twice, as well as the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
