Distinguished Flying Cross Eleven Tennessee Air National Guardsmen assigned to the 134th Air Refueling Wing receive the Distinguished Flying Cross during a ceremony at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Tenn., Dec. 7, 2024. The ceremony highlighted the critical role played by these recipients during a coordinated defense effort in response to one of the largest missile and drone attacks in history, when Iran launched a massive assault on Israel involving over 300 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and unmanned aerial systems.
