WASHINGTON

Defense Secretary James N. Mattis hosted an honor cordon to welcome Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Pentagon, May 17, 2018. During his meeting with Mirziyoyev, Mattis said the U.S. looks forward to working with Uzbekistan on counterterrorism and border security.
