Pentagon Rolls Out Newest Combatant Command
U.S. Space Command was activated Aug. 29, 2019, becoming the nation’s 11th combatant command. In addition to discussing the command’s mission, this video highlights the foundational differences between a military branch and a combatant command. The establishment of U.S. Space Command aims to enhance the nation’s space superiority and protect and defend U.S. interests in space.
