The 26 Veterans served in World War II and many of the men stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. The Veterans were welcomed by hundreds of cheering French locals and Americans alike. The Veterans will continue to tour Normandy throughout the first week of June, participating in many historic and commemorative ceremonies during their travels.
