Secretary Esper Travels to Minot Air Force Base and USSTRATCOM

Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper embarks Wednesday, Feb. 19 to visit Minot Air Force Base and U.S. Strategic Command in Omaha, Nebraska.

At Minot AFB, Secretary Esper will visit with Airmen assigned to the 5th Bomb Wing and 91st Missile Wing and gain a first-hand understanding of the only dual-wing nuclear capable base, hosting two legs of the Strategic Triad. Secretary Esper will also meet with leadership and participate in a town hall with several hundred Airmen, families, and civilians.

Secretary Esper's visit to U.S. Strategic Command will include leadership meetings and an overview of the new Command and Control Facility. Secretary Esper will also participate in a town hall with several hundred service members, families, and civilians.
