Secretary Esper Travels to Lackland Air Force Base

Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper embarks Tuesday, Jun. 16 to visit Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas.

At Lackland AFB, Secretary Esper will meet with leaders from the Air Education Training Command to discuss the continued growth of the nation’s Air and Space forces under COVID conditions. Secretary Esper will also have lunch with service members, observe airman basic training and receive briefings on basic training medical support.
