Secretary Esper Marks End of World War II at Ceremony in Hawaii

Today, onboard the deck of Battleship Missouri Memorial in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, commemorative events mark the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War II.

The program begins at 2 p.m. EDT and Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper will provide keynote remarks at 3 p.m. EDT.

The event will be live-streamed on Defense.gov.

For media located in the Pentagon, the event will be broadcast on Channel 2.
