Acting Secretary Miller Travels to CONUS Bases

Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher C. Miller embarks Tuesday, Jan. 12, to visit the National Nuclear Security Administration in Oak Ridge, Tennessee; the Tennessee National Guard; Fort Campbell, Kentucky; U.S. Strategic Command in Omaha, Nebraska; and U.S. Space Command and U.S. Northern Command in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

In Tennessee, Secretary Miller will visit NNSA partners at the Y-12 National Security Complex, as well as Tennessee National Guardsmen focused on COVID-19 response efforts.  At Fort Campbell, he will meet with service members assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and the 5th Special Forces Group. 

Secretary Miller will also meet with leadership and personnel protecting our nation every day in all domains of warfare at USSTRATCOM, USSPACECOM and USNORTHCOM.
