Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby and Marine Corps Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie, Jr., U.S. Central Command Commander Will Hold a Press Briefing in the Pentagon Briefing Room

Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby will brief the media on camera in the Pentagon Briefing Room at 3 p.m. EDT today, August 26, 2021. He will be joined by Marine Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie, Jr., commander, U.S. Central Command (virtual participation).

If you plan to have a question please call in by 2:55 p.m. so we can inform Mr. Kirby that you will have a question.

Due to COVID social distancing concerns, there will be 30 chairs for reporters in the room.  The seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Only one seat per news organization is authorized.
