Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III is set to depart today on domestic travel to Fort Meade, Maryland. During his visit, Secretary Austin will administer the oath of enlistment to 90 new recruits at the Baltimore Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).
In addition to the enlistment ceremony, Secretary Austin will conduct an office call with Gen. Paul M. Nakasone, Commander of U.S. Cyber Command and Director of the National Security Agency/Chief of the Central Security Service.
The oath of enlistment will be livestreamed at 10:30 a.m. on Defense.gov and Channel 2 within the Pentagon.
