Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. C. Q. Brown, Jr. will hold an on-camera press conference at 12:30 p.m. EDT following today's virtual meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, the fourteenth such meeting of defense leaders from around the world since Russia's unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine.
There will be 60 chairs for reporters in the room. The seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one seat per news organization is authorized.
The briefing will be livestreamed on defense.gov and broadcast on Channel 2 in the Pentagon.
