Secretary of Defense Ash Carter to welcome Tragedy Assistance Program Survivors to the Pentagon

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter will host more than 350 Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) grief camp children and counselors in the Pentagon on May 27, as part of TAPS' annual Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief camp for young survivors. This is the third consecutive year that the secretary has opened up the building the Friday before Memorial Day and welcomed these family members to the Pentagon. Secretary Carter will provide brief remarks, and participate in a group photo with other senior military leaders and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, Bonnie Carroll.
