Army Capt. Kelly Elmlinger, a military nurse, visited with nurses at William Beaumont Army Medical Center's surgical ward on Fort Bliss, Texas, where she shared the story of her battle with synovial sarcoma, a rare soft-tissue cancer that eventually caused the amputation of her left leg.
