Face of Defense: Soldier Runs for Readiness in South Korea
CAMP HOVEY, South Korea —
Army Capt. Brandon Carius, a physician assistant serving in South Korea, ran 42 miles to demonstrate his commitment to readiness. Carius, who has participated in 20 marathons and nine ultramarathons, said that running is meditative, helping him to clear his mind.
