ARMY

 

Harris Corp., Lynchburg, Virginia, was awarded a $461,246,563 firm-fixed-price contract to support the capability to upgrade and modernize existing land mobile radio system infrastructure, as well as replace systems with the latest technology. Two bids were solicited and two bids received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of July 6, 2022. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W52P1J-17-D-0037).

Orbital Alliant Techsystems Operations LLC, Plymouth, Minnesota, was awarded a $53,591,925 modification (P00045) to contract W15QKN-13-C-0074 for procurement of precision guidance kit M1156. Work will be performed in Plymouth, Minnesota, with an estimated completion date of April 27, 2020. Fiscal 2017 other funds in the amount of $53,591,925 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.

 

Project Management Services Inc., Alexandria, Virginia, was awarded a $45,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for cost engineering services in support of Army Corps of Engineers nationwide cost engineering projects. Bids were solicited via the Internet with six received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of July 5, 2022. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla, Washington, is the contracting activity (W912EF-17-D-0013).

 

Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company LLC, Oak Brook, Illinois, was awarded a $12,733,300 firm-fixed-price contract for Atlantic Coast beach re-nourishment, Ocean City, Maryland. Bids were solicited via the Internet with three received. Work will be performed in Ocean City, Maryland, with an estimated completion date of May 16, 2018. Fiscal 2017 other funds in the amount of $12,733,300 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W912DR-17-C-0025).

 

SGS LLC,* Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was awarded a $10,428,748 firm-fixed-price contract for KC-46A flight training center simulator facility Phase 2 at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Bids were solicited via the Internet with four received. Work will be performed in Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, with an estimated completion date of March 21, 2019. Fiscal 2017 Military Construction funds in the amount of $10,428,748 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (W912BV-17-C-0010).

 

DEFENSE FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING SERVICE

 

Kearney and Co. LLC, Alexandria, Virginia, is being awarded a maximum $46,587,841 labor-hour contract for financial statement audit services of the Defense Health Program. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Virginia, with an expected completion date of Dec. 31, 2018.  The contract has an 18-month base period with three individual one-year option periods. This contract is the result of a competitive acquisition for which two quotes were received. Defense Heath Agency fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $14,938,838 are being obligated at the time of the award. The Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Contract Services Directorate, Columbus, Ohio, is the contracting activity (HQ0423-17-F-0096).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Optex Systems Inc.,* Dallas, Texas, has been awarded a maximum $12,447,044 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for night vision devices reparable spare parts. This was a competitive acquisition with one offer received. This is a five-year base contract with no option periods. Location of performance is Texas, with a July 5, 2022, performance completion date. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 through 2022 Army working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland (SPRBL1-17-D-0008).

 

NAVY

 

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Connecticut, was awarded a $9,285,000 not-to-exceed, undefinitized contract action against a previously awarded contract (N00024-16-C-2111) for Virginia Payload Module tube insertion fixture partial material procurement supporting fiscal 2017 critical path procurement.  Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and is scheduled to be completed by April 2018.  Fiscal 2017 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $6,963,222 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, Groton, Connecticut, is the contracting activity (Awarded June 30, 2017).
