CONTRACTS

 

ARMY

 

Alliant Techsystems Operations LLC, Independence, Missouri (W15QKN-17-D-0061); Chemring Military Products Inc., Perry, Florida (W15QKN-17-D-0062); Global Ordnance LLC,* Sarasota, Florida (W15QKN-17-D-0063); and UDC USA Inc.,* Tampa, Florida (W15QKN-17-D-0064), will share in a $500,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of non-standard ammunition and non-standard mortar weapon systems. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 6, 2022. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Picantinny Arsenal, New Jersey, is the contracting activity.

 

Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, was awarded a $227,500,000 modification (P00001) to contract W909MY-16-D-0003 for horizontal technology integration; second generation forward looking infrared and independent thermal viewers; and assemblies for the servo electronics unit.  Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 25, 2018. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

 

Social Services Missouri Dept., Jefferson City, Missouri, was awarded a $12,292,000 modification (P00013) to contract W911S7-16-C-0006 to perform full food services. Work will be performed in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 7, 2018. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance, Army funds in the amount of $10,000,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, is the contracting activity.

 

Mobile Dredging and Video Pipe Inc., Chester, Pennsylvania, was awarded a $10,494,329 firm-fixed-price contract to perform dewatering, dechlorinating, cleaning, and disinfection reservoirs, as well as waste disposal of lime and sediment residuals. Bids were solicited via the Internet with two received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 6, 2020. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W912DR-17-D-0022).

 

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

 

Raytheon Missile Systems Co., Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $66,441,462 sole-source, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee modification for Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) integration, test, and Aegis Ashore support under the Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Block IIA contract (HQ0276-10-C-0005). Under this contract, the contractor will continue efforts for engineering services, analysis, and material in support of the SM-3 Block IIA program efforts, including BMD 5.1 engineering, integration, certification and test efforts; post events assessment support; and flight terminations systems in support of the Aegis Ashore flight test mission for the SM-3 Block IIA program.  The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $2,073,834,069 from $2,007,392,607.  The work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, with an expected completion date of Sept. 30, 2018. Fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $64,187,072 will be obligated at the time of award.  The Missile Defense Agency, Dahlgren, Virginia, is the contracting activity (HQ0276-10-C-0005).

 

NAVY

 

Kratos Technology and Training Solutions Inc., San Diego, California, is being awarded a $46,217,067 firm-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for program planning, and technical and instructional services to support the government of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals.  Work will be performed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (30 percent); Jubail, Saudi Arabia (30 percent); Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (30 percent); Ras al Ghar, Saudi Arabia (5 percent); and Orlando, Florida (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in August 2020.  Foreign Military Sales funds in the amount of $15,405,689 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.202(a)(3).  The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity (N61340-17-D-0007).

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded $28,784,100 for cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order 5523 issued against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-14-G-0020).  This order provides for supplies and services in support of the F-35 Lightning II milestone event capabilities, including retrofit modification kits and installation services for the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, and non-U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) participants.  Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in July 2020.  Fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement (Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy); fiscal 2017 aircraft procurement (Marine Corps, Navy); and non-U.S. DoD participant funds in the amount of $14,392,050 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This order combines purchases for the Air Force ($12,800,716; 45 percent), Marine Corps ($8,617,376; 30 percent); Navy ($5,282,268; 18 percent); and non-U.S. DoD participants ($2,083,740; 7 percent).  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

 

General Dynamics National Steel and Shipbuilding Co. - Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $23,931,868 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00024-11-C-4303) for the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) fiscal 2017 planned incremental availability (PIA).  The PIA includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship’s military and technical capabilities.  Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by March 2018.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $23,931,868 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, Norfolk, Virginia, is the administrative contracting activity.

 

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $14,886,391 modification to a previously awarded firm-price-incentive-firm-target contract (N00019-12-C-0112).  This modification calls for the incorporation of an Early Warning Self Protection 6th sensor engineering change proposal into 11 P-8A Poseidon low-rate initial production Lot 4 aircraft.  Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida, and is expected to be completed in February 2019.  No funds will be obligated at time of award.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

The Original Footwear Co.,* Morristown, Tennessee, has been awarded a maximum $8,135,490 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for temperate boots. This is a one-year contract with no option periods. This was a competitive acquisition with four offers received. Location of performance is Tennessee, with an Aug. 6, 2018, performance completion date. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 through fiscal 2018 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE1C1-17-D-1077).
