XPO Logistics Worldwide Government Services, High Point, North Carolina, has been awarded a modification not to exceed $139,533,290 for the extension of the defense transportation coordination initiative contract (HTC711-07-D-0032) which provides freight transportation arrangement services. This is an indefinite-delivery, requirements contract. Work will be performed throughout the continental U.S., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 16, 2018. This modification increases the total value of the contract from $2,182,536,773 to $2,322,070,063. Fiscal 2018 defense working capital funds in the amount of $139,533,290 were obligated at time of award. Coffman Specialties Inc., San Diego, California, is being awarded $31,100,000 for firm-fixed-price task order N6247318F4019 under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N62473-15-D-2442) to repair taxiway shoulders and lights at Travis Air Force Base. The work to be performed provides for construction services for the repair of taxiway shoulder and lights for taxiways M, N, K, L, J, and offsite disposal of petroleum contaminated soil. The work also includes environmental conservation measures for endangered species such as biological monitoring and inspections.
