CONTRACTS

 

NAVY

 

General Dynamics, Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine, is being awarded a $44,305,474 cost-plus-award-fee modification against a previously awarded contract (N00024-12-C-4311) to exercise an option for DDG planning yard services.  This modification continues integrated planning yard services for Arleigh Burke-class and Oliver Hazard Perry-class ships.  Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by June 2018.  Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $387,775 will be obligated at time of award. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion, and Repair, U.S. Navy, Bath, Maine, is the contracting activity.

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded $43,226,657 for modification P00026 to a previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-firm, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00019-16-C-0004).  This modification provides for support for base stand-up at F-35 sites, including labor and other direct costs for interim contractor support.  Additionally, this modification provides for F-35 recurring sustainment program management activities.  Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida (47 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (38 percent); Greenville, South Carolina (14 percent); and Redondo Beach, California (1 percent), and is expected to be completed in January 2019.  Non-Department of Defense (Non-DoD) participant; foreign military sales (FMS); and fiscal 2017 aircraft procurement (Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $43,226,657 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract combines purchases for the Navy ($2,035,304; 4.71 percent); Air Force ($657,193; 1.52 percent); Marine Corps ($317,553; 0.73 percent); non-DoD participants ($23,649,393; 54.71 percent); and FMS ($16,567,214; 38.33 percent), under the Foreign Military Sales program.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

 

IAP Worldwide Services Inc., Cape Canaveral, Florida, is being awarded a $19,370,663 recurring/non-recurring services type contract for base operations services at Naval Support Activity Annapolis.  The work to be performed provides for all management, supervision, labor hours, training, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform base operating services to include but not limited to facility investment, service calls, pest control, operation of utility plants, refuse collection, special events, and snow and ice removal.  Work will be performed in Annapolis, Maryland, and is expected to be completed July 2018.  No funds will be obligated at the time of award.  Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy); and fiscal 2018 Navy working capital funds in the amount of $13,398,781 for recurring work will be obligated on individual task orders issued during the contract period.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity (N40080-18-D-0500).

 

Marathon Construction Corp.,* Lakeside, California, is being awarded $9,597,777 for firm-fixed-price task order N6247318F4085 under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N62473-16-D-1802) for the renovation of Pier 13 at Naval Base San Diego.  The work to be performed will demolish the existing steel fender system and provide new pre-stressed concrete primary and secondary fender systems for berthing various vessels.  The project also contains general structural repairs, consisting of above and under deck spalls, several mooring foundations, and the installation of epoxy-filled fiberglass jackets.  Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by May 2019.  Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $9,597,777 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Four proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity (N62473-16-D-1802). 

 

ARMY

 

The Dutra Group, San Rafael, California, has been awarded a $32,859,630 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging entrance channel. Bids were solicited via the Internet with three received. Work will be performed in St. Marys, Georgia, with an estimated completion date of June 6, 2018. Fiscal 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018 other; non-federal; and military construction funds in the combined amount of $32,859,630 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville, Florida, is the contracting activity (W912EP-18-C-0005).

 

SIX3 Intelligence Solutions Inc. (CACI), McLean, Virginia, has been awarded a $23,539,305 modification (P00013) to contract W911W4-16-C-0006 to provide services to U.S. Forces Afghanistan. Work will be performed in Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of Feb. 27, 2018. Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $23,539,305 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

 

BAE Systems, McLean, Virginia, has been awarded a $21,809,274 modification (P00010) to contract W911W4-16-C-0008 to provide services to U.S. Forces Afghanistan. Work will be performed in Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of Feb. 27, 2018. Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance Army funds in the amount of $21,809,274 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

 

BAE Systems Land & Armaments LP, San Jose, California, has been awarded a $7,221,514 modification (P00055) to contract W56HZV-15-C-0099 for Bradley A5 engineering change proposal system functional review. Work will be performed in San Jose, California, with an estimated completion date of July 8, 2020. Fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $7,221,514 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

 

AIR FORCE

 

Aerojet Rocketdyne Inc., Rancho Cordova, California, has been awarded a $22,763,966 contract modification (P00139) to a previously awarded (FA9300-07-C-0001) in support of the existing contractual effort for the design, build, and test of a reusable oxidizer rich staged combustion cycle booster engine with utilizing baseline propellants liquid oxygen.  The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $218,442,413.  Work will be performed in Rancho Cordova, California, with an expected completion date of Dec. 24, 2020.  Air Force Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity.
