CONTRACTS

 

ARMY

 

Caddell Construction Co. (DE) LLC, Montgomery, Alabama, was awarded a $127,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of the National Nuclear Security Administration Albuquerque Complex, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bids were solicited via the Internet with four received. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 6, 2020. Fiscal 2018 weapons activities primary funds in the amount of $82,016,750 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the contracting activity (W912PP-18-C-0004).

 

J.C. Bamford Excavators, Pooler, Georgia, was awarded an $8,666,814 modification (0011) to contract W56HZV-14-D-0066 for the procurement of 34 high mobility engineer excavators. Work will be performed in Pooler, Georgia, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 30, 2019. Fiscal 2018 other procurement (Army) funds in the amount of $8,666,814 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

 

AIR FORCE

 

Harris Corp., Space and Intelligence Systems, Palm Bay, Florida, has been awarded a $44,691,048 firm-fixed-price modification (P00006) to previously awarded contract FA8819-17-C-0004 for production of the Counter Communication System Block 10.2.  This modification will upgrade Block 10.1 systems to the Block 10.2 configuration and deliver three new Block 10.2 systems including depot spares. This modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $127,106,640. Work will be performed in Palm Bay, Florida, and is expected to be complete by Feb. 28, 2020. Fiscal 2018 procurement funds in the amount of $44,691,048 are being obligated at the time of award.  The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Space Superiority Systems Directorate, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity.

 

Raytheon Missile Co., Tucson, Arizona, has been awarded a $12,099,569 fixed-price-incentive contract modification (P00004) to previously awarded contract FA8675-18-C-0003 for Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile (AMRAAM) Production Lot 32 field spares and initial depot spares.  Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be complete by Jan. 31, 2021.  This modification involves foreign military sales to Australia, Korea, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Turkey.  Fiscal 2018 production funds in the amount of $4,840,654; fiscal 2018 research and development funds in the amount of $477,392; fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $196,793; and foreign military sales funds in the amount of $6,584,730 are being obligated at the time of award.  Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Dominance Contracting Office, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

 

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., McLean, Virginia, has been awarded a $24,092,510 modification (P00025) to previously awarded contract HR0011-16-F-0005 for enterprise support services. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $70,367,678 from $46,275,168. Work will be performed in Arlington, Virginia, with an expected completion date of May 2019. Fiscal 2018 research and development funds in the amount of $6,016,387 are being obligated at time of award. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

 

NAVY

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is awarded a $10,891,280 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00019-17-C-0045).  This modification provides additional funding for flight test software sustainment in support of the F-35 Lightning II joint strike fighter aircraft for the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy and non-Department of Defense (DoD) participants.  Sustainment services to be provided include ground maintenance activities; action request resolution; depot activation activities; Automatic Logistics Information System operations and maintenance; reliability, maintainability and health management implementation and support; supply chain management; and activities to provide and support pilot and maintainer initial training.  Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (46 percent); Orlando, Florida (32 percent); Warton, United Kingdom (9 percent); El Segundo, California (7 percent); and Greenville, South Carolina (6 percent), and is expected to be completed in April 2018.  Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy); and non-DoD participant funds in the amount of $10,891,280 will be obligated at time of award, $8,709,539 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This modification combines purchases for the Air Force ($4,354,769; 39.98 percent); Marine Corps ($2,177,385; 19.99 percent); Navy ($2,177,385; 19.99 percent); and non-DoD participants ($2,181,741; 20.04 percent).  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Avfuel Corp., Ann Arbor, Michigan, has been awarded a minimum $9,950,623 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment contract for fuel. This was a competitive acquisition with 26 responses received. This is a 46-month contract with a six-month option period. Locations of performance are Michigan and California, with a March 31, 2022, performance completion date. Using customers are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2018 through 2022 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, Virginia (SPE607-18-D-0044).

 

UPDATE: Mack Defense, Allentown, Pennsylvania (SPE8EC-18-D-0015), has been added as an awardee to the multiple-award contract for commercial trucks and trailers, issued against solicitation SPE8EC-17-R-0008, announced April 20, 2017.
