CONTRACTS

 

NAVY

 

Rolls-Royce Corp., Indianapolis, Indiana, is being awarded a $78,695,875 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide original equipment manufacturer engineering and logistics support for the KC-130J aircraft AE2100D3 engines for the Marine Corps and the government of Kuwait under the Foreign Military Sales program.  Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana (75 percent); Iwakuni, Japan (6 percent); Cherry Point, North Carolina (6 percent); Miramar, California (6 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (3 percent); Al Mubarak Airbase, Kuwait (2 percent); and Newburgh, New York (2 percent), and is expected to be completed in May 2022.  No funds will be obligated at time of award; funds will be obligated against individual delivery orders as they are issued.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1).  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00019-17-D-0091).

 

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded $42,485,917 for modification P00065 to a previously awarded firm-price, incentive (firm-target) contract (N00019-14-C-0067).  This modification provides for the procurement of eight deployable mission readiness trainers and associated mode control panels, program management and engineering support for the P-8A Multi-mission Maritime aircraft.  Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri (50 percent); Seattle, Washington (15 percent); Tampa, Florida (10 percent); Orlando, Florida (5 percent); San Francisco, California (5 percent); Hauppauge, New York (5 percent); Azusa, California (5 percent); and Huntington Beach, California (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in October 2021.  Fiscal 2015 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $42,485,917 are being obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity.

 

Applied Physical Sciences Corp., Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a $19,651,822 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the development of advanced design tools, technologies and experimental methods for Future Platform Signature Design.   Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and work is expected to be completed May 4, 2022.  Fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $640,000 will be obligated at the time of award.  No funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured under solicitation N00014-15-S-BA01, entitled "Long Range Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Navy and Marine Corps Science and Technology" Sept. 30, 2014.  Proposals will be received throughout the year under the long range BAA, therefore, the number of proposals received in response to the solicitation is unknown.  The Office of Naval Research, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00014-17-C-2011).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Burlington Industries LLC, Greensboro, North Carolina, has been awarded a maximum $20,400,000 modification (P00117) exercising the fourth one-year option period of a one-year base contract (SPM1C1-13-D-1052) with four one-year option periods for blue, shade 451, poly/wool cloth. This is a fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment contract. Location of performance is North Carolina, with a May 12, 2018, performance completion date. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 through 2018 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

ARMY

 

Tetra Tech Merrick JV,* Atlanta, Georgia, was awarded a $10,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for miscellaneous architect-engineering services with a primary focus in the area of civil works. Bids were solicited via the Internet with 10 received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of May 9, 2022. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Georgia, is the contracting activity (W912HN-17-D-0005).
