Raytheon Missile Systems Co., Tucson, Arizona, has been awarded a $768,283,907 non-competitive fixed-price incentive (firm) contract for Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) Production Lot 33. This contract provides for the production of the AMRAAM missiles, captive air training missiles, guidance sections, AMRAAM telemetry system, spares and other production engineering support hardware. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, with an expected completion date of Feb. 28, 2023. Fiscal 2018 Air Force and Navy procurement funds in the amount of $21,606,031; fiscal 2019 Air Force and Navy procurement funds in the amount of $356,753,259; fiscal 2020 Navy procurement funds in the amount of $4,212,839; fiscal 2019 Air Force research and development funds in the amount of $7,343,150; fiscal 2020 Air Force and Navy research and development funds in the amount of $10,295,601; fiscal 2020 Air Force operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $1,404,956; and foreign military sales funds in the amount of $366,668,071 are being obligated at the time of award. National Aerospace Solutions LLC, Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, has been awarded an $88,542,734 modification (P00092) to contract FA9101-15-C-0500 for test operations and sustainment. This modification provides for test operations, technology development, equipment and facility sustainment, capital improvements and some support services for Arnold Engineering Development Complex. Work will be performed at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2020. The overall value of the contract is $1,024,292,109. Boeing Co., Saint Louis, Missouri, has been awarded a $9,500,000 modification (P00003) to previously awarded contract FA3002-16-D-0006 for C-17 simulator training supporting North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) partners. This modification increases the ceiling of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the previously awarded amount of $9,500,000 to $18,000,000. Work will be performed in the United Kingdom and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2021. This contract involves foreign military sales for NATO and foreign military sales funds in the amount of $2,700,000 are being obligated at the time of the award. This modification to an existing award is the result of a country-directed, sole-source acquisition. MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY
The Boeing Co., Huntsville, Alabama, is being awarded a $265,235,164 contract modification (P00033) to the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) development and sustainment contract (HQ0147-12-C-0004/19-C-0004). The total value of the contract, including options, is increased from $10,944,499,963 to $11,209,735,127. Under this modification, the contractor will support the GMD Communications Network Modernization, the in-flight interceptor communications system data terminals technology upgrade, and complete the GMD fire control communication ground systems software build 8 early integration. This work will be performed by an industry team consisting of The Boeing Co., Huntsville, Alabama; Northrop Grumman Corp., Huntsville, Alabama; and L3Harris Corp., Melbourne, Florida. The period of performance is from Dec. 27, 2019, to Dec. 31, 2022. This acquisition was executed on a sole-source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Justification and approval #16-0052 was posted to Fed BizOpps on Sept. 13, 2017. Fiscal 2019 and 2020 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $19,401,000 were obligated at the time of award. Trinity Technology Partners Inc., Greenbelt, Maryland, was awarded a $21,476,541 firm-fixed-price labor-hour contract (HHM402-20-C-0004) to provide technical support services to the Defense Intelligence Agency. Work will be conducted in the National Capital Region, with an expected completion date of Jan. 29, 2024. Fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $800,000 are being obligated at time of award. Total cumulative contract value will be $39,600,000. Work will be performed at various administrative facilities within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, area of responsibility, including, but not limited to, Maryland, Washington, District of Columbia, and Virginia, and is expected to be completed by December 2020. Cianbro Corp., Pittsfield is awarded a $16,200,000 contract modification, which exercises priced options 0006 and 0007 under a firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a super flood basin and extending portal crane rails for Dry Dock 1 located at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. After award of these options, the total cumulative contract value will be $174,149,610. These options will provide maintenance dredging at Berth 11A, which is located adjacent to Dry Dock 1. Dredge materials will be disposed of in an approved disposal area. Work will be performed in Kittery, Maine, and is expected to be completed by March 2022.
