Contracts For Oct. 7, 2021

DEFENSE FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING SERVICE

Kearney and Co. PC, Alexandria, Virginia, is being awarded a maximum $58,387,318 firm-fixed-price and labor-hour contract for financial statement audit services of the Medicare-Eligible Retiree Health Care Fund, the Defense Health Agency Contractor Resource Management Office, and the Defense Health Program (DHP). Work will be performed in various locations including the DHP headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia, as well as other federal locations in Texas, Ohio, Indianapolis, Maryland, Colorado, New York, and Maine, with an expected completion date of Dec. 31, 2022. The contract has a one-year base period with four individual one-year option periods. This contract is the result of a competitive acquisition for which one quote was received.  Award is subject to availability of funds, however fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance, Defense funds in the amount of $11,108,003 will be obligated once funds are available. The Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Contract Services Directorate, Columbus, Ohio, is the contracting activity (HQ0423-22-F-9000).

AIR FORCE

Eurofins Genomics LLC, Louisville, Kentucky, has been awarded a $30,000,000 contract action for COVID-19 industrial base expansion. This contract develops an expanded production capacity for the manufacturing of reagents used in COVID-19 diagnostic tests. Work will be performed in Louisville, Kentucky, and is expected to be completed by March 23, 2023. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition in which 91 offers were received. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8689-22-C-2013). 

CORRECTION: The Oct. 5, 2021, announcement of a Sept. 30, 2021, contract award to P+S Construction Inc., North Chelmsford, Massachusetts (FA2835-21-C0029), for upgrades to critical communications equipment housing, included an incorrect award amount. The firm-fixed-price contract was actually awarded for $7,597,000, not $7,957,000.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Co.,* Belleville, Illinois, has been awarded a maximum $10,169,411 modification (P00008) exercising the second one-year option period of a one-year base contract (SPE1C1-20-D-1208) with three one-year option periods for men’s and women’s temperate weather boots. This is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Locations of performance are Arkansas and Illinois, with an Oct. 10, 2022, ordering period end date. Using military service is Air Force. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2022 through 2023 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

UPDATE: Gyro-Trac Corp., Summerville, South Carolina (SPE8EC-22-D-0001), has been added as an awardee to the multiple award contract for agricultural equipment, issued against solicitation SPE8EC-17-R-0007 and awarded June 12, 2020.
