This contract was a competitive acquisition in which all Civil Reserve Air Fleet carriers were eligible to submit a proposal and four offers were received. Erickson Helicopters Inc., Portland, Oregon, was awarded a modification (P00016) on firm-fixed-price contract HTC711-8-D-R023 with a face value of $8,662,677. This modification provides continued dedicated fixed-wing and rotary-wing air services. Work will be performed at Edwin Andrews Air Base, Philippines. The period of performance is from Dec. 28, 2022, to March 27, 2023. Fiscal 2023 Transportation Working Capital funds were obligated at award. NAVY
The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, is awarded a $2,020,956,832 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. This contract provides for system upgrades for the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS) variants, and will provide for deliverables and services based on systems configuration set requirements consisting of all software and hardware required to implement new capabilities on the aircraft for the Navy and FMS customers. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri (86%); El Segundo, California (11%); and China Lake, California (3%), and is expected to be completed in December 2027. Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut, is awarded a $676,702,069 for a ceiling-priced, performance-based logistics requirements contract for the supply chain management that includes 196 weapon replaceable assemblies/shop replaceable assemblies in support of the CH-53E and MH-53E helicopters. The contract will include a five-year base period with one two-year option. If the option is exercised, the contract will be a not-to-exceed amount of $752,324,052. Work will be performed in Cherry Point, North Carolina (77%); and Stratford, Connecticut (23%). Work is expected to be completed by December 2027; if the option is exercised, work will be completed by December 2029. This contract provides for management, engineering, production, fabrication, integration, configuration management, test, test support and logistics support of the sniper system to ensure system availability rate and reliability mean time between maintenance events. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2029. This contract was the result of a sole-source acquisition.
