Contracts For June 22, 2016

CONTRACTS

 

ARMY

 

Harris Corp., Rochester, New York, was awarded a $1,700,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multi-year foreign military sales contract (Afghanistan) to procure Harris family of radios, ancillaries, spare parts and services.  Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received. The estimated completion date is June 15, 2021. Funding and work location will be determined with each order.  Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W91CRB-16-D-5006). (This contract, inadvertently announced on June 16, 2016, is effective today.)

 

Fugro,* Frederick, Maryland, was awarded a $12,500,000 firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract for architectural and engineering for photogrammetric and LiDAR surveying and mapping.  Bids were solicited via the Internet with 25 received, with an estimated completion date of June 21, 2021. Funding and work location will be determined with each order.   Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis, Missouri, is the contracting activity (W912P9-16-D-0020).

 

Raytheon Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Andover, Massachusetts, was awarded a $7,227,976 modification (0002BR) to foreign military sales (UAE) contract W31P4Q-09-G-0001 for Patriot system electric power plants.  Work will be performed in Andover, Billerica, and Waltham, Massachusetts; Garland, Texas; and Germany, with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2017.  Fiscal 2016 other procurement funds in the amount of $7,227,976 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

 

NAVY

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded $27,189,434 for cost-plus-incentive-fee delivery order 0086 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-14-G-0020).  This delivery order provides for the non-recurring effort required to develop a Common F-35A air system, which includes training device integration, fusion updates and flight test requirements for the governments of Korea and Israel.  Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in December 2018.  International partner funding in the amount of $9,400,000 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

 

Atlantic Contracting & Material Co. Inc.,* Upper Marlboro, Maryland, is being awarded an $11,320,995 firm-fixed-price contract for the repair of SP Area and SP 37 Airfield pavement onboard Naval Station Norfolk.  The work to be performed provides for the replacement of existing airfield parking apron pavement.  The existing concrete/bituminous pavement will be demolished to subgrade and replaced with new concrete pavement.  Additional new work associated with this project includes pavement stripping, aircraft tie-downs, static grounding, and incidental related work.  Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by November 2017.  Fiscal 2016 operation and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $11,320,995 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with two proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N40085-16-C-6148).

 

BAE Systems, Land & Armaments, York, Pennsylvania, is being awarded an $10,862,557 firm-fixed-price contract to provide the necessary material and technical engineering to build, integrate, test, and deliver one assault amphibious vehicle, command vehicle 7A1 (AAVC7A1); and one assault amphibious vehicle, recovery vehicle 7A1 (AAVR7A1).  This effort includes all weapons, support and test equipment, spares, publications, training, engineering services, logistics, and other technical support required under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case JA-P-SCD (end user:  government of Japan).  This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the contract value to $11,066,919.   Work will be performed in Anniston, Alabama, and is expected to be completed by June 2019.  FMS revolving funds in the amount of $10,862,557 will be obligated at time of award and do not have an expiration date.  This contract was solicited as a sole-source award in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-4 per the country’s official written direction.  The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia, is the contracting activity (M67854-16-C-0002).

 

EMR Inc.,* Lawrence, Kansas, is being awarded $7,639,777 for firm-fixed-price task order 0003 under a previously awarded, multiple award construction contract (N40085-15-D-0093) for renovations of the Navy Gateway Inn and Suites portion of Building 225 at Dam Neck Annex.  Work will be performed in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by June 2017.  Non-appropriated contract funds in the amount of $7,639,777 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Six proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
