Navy Seabees assigned to Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa completed and turned over the newly constructed Ali Oune Medical Clinic to Djiboutian government officials during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the clinic, Jan. 31, 2019. The 2,900-square-foot clinic, built by the Seabees over the course of five months, is intended to enhance the Djiboutian Ministry of Health’s ability to provide basic medical, birth and aftercare to the more than 1,000 residents and rural neighbors of Ali Oune village.
