Soldiers assigned to the 25th Infantry Division Artillery Brigade ran, swam, climbed, crawled, jumped and paddled through a 36-hour "This Is My Squad" competition at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, recently.

This Is My Squad is an Army initiative to build stronger unit cohesion. Plenty of that was on display during the competition:

One squad represented each subordinate unit of the brigade, completing physically, mentally and tactically demanding challenges to build trust, physical fitness, discipline and individual and collective readiness.

The competition will be conducted on a quarterly basis, and the winning squads will compete in the Best Squad Competition at the end of the year.
