Airmen and soldiers came together for a night mission during Rainier War 21B at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

The 62nd Airlift Wing-led exercise was designed to highlight how the wing executes today's global airlift mission, developing readiness to win any fight, any time.

The exercise also included processing and preparing personnel and cargo for a deployment, and conducting specialized fueling operations and other scenarios that test responses. Participants operated in a simulated contested, degraded and operationally limited environment, forcing airmen to consistently adapt to changing conditions and generate creative solutions.
