It was an International Women's Day to remember for the Army's 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 11th Airborne Division "Arctic Angels."
Female paratroopers assigned to the team conducted a jump from a C-17 Globemaster III assigned to the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard to mark the day of recognition at Malemute Drop Zone, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, March 7.
Female soldiers and airmen participated in the jump and all ground and air duties were executed by women.
