Flag Officer Assignment

Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John Richardson announced today the following assignment:


Capt. James M. Butler, selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as reserve deputy commander, U.S. 10th Fleet, Fort Meade, Maryland.  Butler is currently serving as community lead, Navy Reserve, Naval Information Force Reserve Headquarters, N9, Fort Worth, Texas.
