Secretary of Defense Ash Carter announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Marine Corps Col. Michael S. Cederholm, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Cederholm is currently serving as the military secretary to the commandant of the Marine Corps, Headquarters Marine Corps, Washington, District of Columbia.
Marine Corps Col. Dennis A. Crall, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Crall is currently serving as the executive officer to the deputy commander, U.S. Central Command, Tampa, Florida.
Marine Corps Col. Bradford J. Gering, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Gering is currently serving as the military assistant to the secretary of the Navy, Headquarters, Department of the Navy, Washington, District of Columbia.
Marine Corps Col. James F. Glynn, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Glynn is currently serving as the military assistant to the assistant commandant of the Marine Corps, Headquarters Marine Corps, Washington, District of Columbia.
Marine Corps Col. Gregory L. Masiello, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Masiello is currently serving as the director and program manager, F-35 Follow-On Development, Joint Program Office, Washington, District of Columbia.
Marine Corps Col. David W. Maxwell, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Maxwell is currently serving as commanding officer, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia.
Marine Corps Col. Stephen M. Neary, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Neary is currently serving as the assessment branch chief, programs and resources, Headquarters Marine Corps, Washington, District of Columbia.
Marine Corps Col. Steven D. Sklenka, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Sklenka is currently serving as the executive assistant to the deputy commandant for installations and logistics, Headquarters Marine Corps, Washington, District of Columbia.
Marine Corps Col. Roger B. Turner Jr., has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Turner is currently assigned to the office of the assistant commandant of the Marine Corps for plans, policy and operations, Headquarters Marine Corps, Washington, District of Columbia.
Marine Corps Col. Rick A. Uribe, has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Uribe is currently assigned as commanding officer, Marine Air Group Eleven, Miramar, California.
