Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and Qatari Defense Minister Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah discussed the security partnership between the U.S. and Qatar during a telephone conversation yesterday, chief Pentagon spokesperson Dana W. White said in a statement.
The secretary and the minister affirmed the strategic partnership and discussed continued cooperation, White said.
