WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio – The Legacy Fleet Drag Reduction Program was awarded the Technical Cooperation Program (TTCP) Team Award on Feb. 6, during a ceremony held at the Pentagon.

The Air Force Research Laboratory's Dennis Carter, Senior Aerospace Engineer with the Aerospace Systems Directorate, and other members of his team, including John Carr and Tony Lorang from Boeing, and Maj. Greg Givogue from the Royal Canadian Air Force, were presented the award for efforts in reducing the aerodynamic drag of the C-130 and C-17 aircraft. This was a joint effort between Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, potentially reducing the fuel burned by the United States Air Force by $30 million annually.
