Flag Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Ash Carter announced today that the president has made the following nomination:

Rear Adm. Kevin D. Scott for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and for assignment as director for operational plans and joint force development, J-7, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia. Scott is currently serving as vice director, joint force development, Joint Staff, Suffolk, Virginia.
