Service and Combatant Command Senior Enlisted Advisors Hold Press Briefings

WASHINGTON – Army Command Sgt. Maj. John W. Troxell, the senior enlisted advisor to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (SEAC), and the top senior enlisted leaders from across the armed forces, will hold two press briefings in the Pentagon Press Briefing Room (2E973), Nov. 27 and 28. 

The first event on Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. EST will feature the SEAC along with five service senior enlisted advisors and will focus on readiness, which includes training, manning, and equipping policies, and enlisted leader development. The panel comprises Sgt. Maj of the Army Daniel A. Dailey, Sgt. Maj. of the Marine Corps Ronald L. Green, Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Steven S. Giordano,  Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Kaleth O. Wright,  Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Steven W. Cantrell, and  SEAC Sgt. Maj. John W. Troxell. 

The second event on Nov. 28 at 3 p.m. EST will feature the SEAC along with nine of the combatant command senior enlisted leaders, with a focus on joint operations, global integration and international partnerships. The panel comprises command senior enlisted leaders Marine Sgt. Maj. Anthony A. Spadaro of U.S. Pacific Command; Navy Fleet Master Chief Petty Officer Crispian D. Addington of U.S. European Command, Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Ramon “CZ” Colon-Lopez of U.S. Africa Command, Command Sgt. Maj. William F. Thetford of U.S. Central Command, Marine Sgt. Maj. Bryan K. Zickefoose of U.S. Southern Command, Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Harold L. Hutchison of U.S. Northern Command, Army Command Sgt. Maj. Patrick L. McCauley of U.S. Special Operations Command, Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Patrick F. McMahon of U.S. Strategic Command; Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Matthew M. U.S. Transportation Command and the SEAC Sgt. Maj. John W. Troxell. 

The service senior enlisted advisors and command senior enlisted leaders are gathered as part of the Defense Senior Enlisted Council, an annual executive-level conference to address issues impacting the joint enlisted force.   

Foreign journalists without a Pentagon building pass must plan on being escorted from the River Entrance Pedestrian Bridge only, or, if arriving at the Pentagon Metro Entrance Facility, must contact 703-697-5131 a minimum of one hour prior to your arrival. Please arrive no later than 45 minutes before the briefing if coming by Metro. U.S. journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance Pedestrian Bridge or the Pentagon Metro Visitors Entrance only. If arriving by Metro, please contact 703-697-5131 a minimum of one hour prior to your arrival, and plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the event; have proof of affiliation and photo identification.
