Pentagon Chief Spokesperson Dana W. White and Marine Lt. Gen. Kenneth F. McKenzie Jr., director, Joint Staff, will brief the press at 9 a.m. EDT, April 14, in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973), on operations in Syria. To attend this briefing, journalists must either have a Pentagon badge, or those without a badge must have an approved pre-registration in the new Pentagon Visitor Management System. Foreign journalists with a Pentagon badge must also have an approved pre-registration to attend this briefing, and must be escorted from the Corridor 2 Entrance. All journalists should enter the Pentagon through the Corridor 2 Entrance by South Parking. Journalists without a badge should call 703-697-5131 for escort from the Corridor 2 Entrance. For April 14 only, journalists may park in South Parking Lanes 1-4; these are the lanes closest to the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial. This briefing will also be streamed live on www.defense.gov/live.
