General Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper announced today that the president has made the following nomination:

Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Austin E. Renforth for appointment to the rank of major general.  Renforth is currently serving as the director, joint capabilities integration and development, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Washington, D.C.
