Flag Officer Announcements

Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Navy Vice Adm. James J. Malloy for reappointment to the rank of vice admiral and assignment as deputy commander, U.S. Central Command, Tampa, Florida.  Malloy is currently serving as commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Central Command; commander, Fifth Fleet; and commander, Combined Maritime Forces, Manama, Bahrain.

Navy Rear Adm. Michelle C. Skubic for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and assignment as director, Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.   Skubic is currently serving as commander, Naval Supply Systems Command; and chief of Supply Corps, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
