Principal Director for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia Policy, Nathaniel Adler, participated virtually in a briefing hosted by the Georgian Ministry of Defense. The discussion focused on progress achieved under the Georgia Defense Readiness Program (GDRP) and plans for sustaining and building upon these gains in the future. Other participants included U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan, Georgian First Deputy Defense Minister Lela Chikovani, Brigadier General Irakli Tchitchinadze, Deputy Chief of the Georgian Defense Forces, and Brigadier General Edward Vaughan, Deputy Director for Partnering, Security Cooperation, and Space Capabilities at United States European Command.
