The Strategic Technology Protection and Exploitation Office’s Resilient Systems (RS) Directorate in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering recently presented a webinar in partnership with Defense Acquisition University (DAU) on the online Cyber Resilient Weapon Systems Body of Knowledge (CRWS-BoK).
The nearly hour-long webinar provides a helpful overview of the online CRWS-BoK’s background and purpose, as well as its key features and functionalities. The webinar recording and presentation slides are publicly available on the DAU website.
The CRWS-BoK is a technical resource for science and technology (S&T) and engineering professionals who specialize in cyber resilient weapon systems. The technical community from the DoD, federal government, industry, and academia can access this free and public information to assist them in weapon systems and program development, as well as policy decision-making. The RS Directorate, under the leadership of Ms. Melinda Reed, launched the online CRWS-BoK in May 2021 and continues to solicit and implement feedback from users to improve the CRWS-BoK’s functionality and offerings.
The RS Directorate also partners with S&T and engineering professionals to foster assured resilient missions, systems, and components. It leverages best practices and fosters innovation that enables the Nation’s S&T and engineering workforce to deliver secure cyber resilient weapon systems that can successfully operate in the face of persistent cyber threats.
