Acting Pentagon Press Secretary Todd Breasseale provided the following readout:

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III spoke by phone with Estonian Minister of Defense Kalle Laanet, Latvian Minister of Defense Artis Pabriks, and Lithuanian Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anusauskas to discuss defense cooperation in advance of the June 29-30 NATO Summit in Madrid. The leaders shared concern over Russian threats against Allies and consulted on plans to enhance deterrence and defense on NATO’s Eastern Flank.
