General Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nomination:

Space Force Lt. Gen. Bradley C. Saltzman for appointment to the grade of general, with assignment as chief of space operations, Headquarters, U.S. Space Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.  Saltzman is currently serving as the deputy chief of space operations for Operations, Cyber, and Nuclear, Headquarters, U.S. Space Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
